In 1965, Charlie Brown was famously concerned by our commercial culture at the holidays.  In 2017, people just have so much stuff! Clothes, toys, trinkets, novelties, electronics...  The holiday season can become overwhelming just deciding where to put all the new things that come flooding into our lives.

More and more people are choosing to give their loved ones a meaningful experience instead of a physical gift at the holidays.  Woldumar Nature Center gives you the opportunity to do just that.  This year we offer three options for you to choose from:

    1)  Camp Gift Certificates:

Woldumar's nature-based day camp is fun and educational.  Participants hike, explore, play games, sing songs and do crafts as they learn about science and nature.  Camp is offered to children in grades K-5 at Winter Break and Spring Break, and to children grades preK-10 during Summer Break.  Gifts in any amount can be applied toward a day of break camp or a week of summer camp.  Regular rates are:

    Member:  $35/day, $160/week

    Nonmember:  $45/day, $190/week

To learn more about camp, please visit http://woldumar.org/explore-programs/

Gift purchase does not guarantee placement in a specific camp session.  Timely registration is required by the recipient.  Camp gift certificates expire 12/31/2018.

    2)  Gift Membership:

Woldumar is a member-based nonprofit association.  Our members are individuals who support our mission to educate people about the natural environment.  If you know that protecting natural space and learning about science and nature are important to someone on your list, a Woldumar membership may be the perfect gift idea!  Members receive a bi-monthly newsletter, free access to our trails, and discounts to our programs, events and gift shop (depending on membership level).

Learn more about membership opportunities and benefits here:  http://woldumar.org/get-involved/become-a-member/

*All gift memberships expire 12/31/2018, except life memberships.

    3)  Honorary Contributions:

Honor someone special in your life by making a donation in their name.  They will receive a recognition letter and information about the organization's nonprofit mission and program efforts in the mail.
