Experience dynamic learning environments through LEARN517, a homeschool partnership program that explores a monthly theme through the disciplines of art, science, nature, and history. Each program partner hosts a 1-3 p.m. Thursday homeschool session based on the following calendar:

January: Machines & Motion
February: Architecture & Building
March: Living Bodies
April: Seeds & Plants
LEARN
517 sessions meet each Thursday of the month at the following venues: REACH Art Studio (Week 1), Impression 5 Science Center (Week 2), Woldumar Nature Center (Week 3), and Michigan History Center (Week 4). Sessions are from 1-3 p.m. and designed for homeschool families with children ages 6-11 (other ages welcome).
Woldumar Session Information:
Explore the great outdoors and learn more about the natural science in your own backyard as you hike our trails, play games, view demonstrations, and perform experiments.
October 20: Ground water adventures
November 17: Nature detectives
December 15: Phases of the Moon
January 19: Sleds, wheels & snow shoes
February 16: Animal homes & niches
March 16: Wilderness survival
April 20: Plants on the move
Registration: Pre-register or walk-in.
Cost: $5.00 per student or $4.00 per student if multiple children in family.
