SPRING BREAK CAMP IS FULL.
Camp Discovery at Woldumar Nature Center has been a Lansing area tradition for over half a century!
We follow MI LARA's Guidelines for Camps During Covid-19. This includes daily health screenings and cloth mask at all times while indoors/outdoors within 6ft.
Leave winter behind & SPRING into adventure. Children currently enrolled in grades Kindergarten through 6th have the opportunity to get outdoors and try new things! Make friends, be adventurous, have fun!
This year we offer five different daily themes. Both half and full day camps available. Full day runs from 9am-4pm; Half day 9am-12:00pm. Campers need to bring their own lunch, refillable water bottle, and weather appropriate clothes. Woldumar will provide a snack each day.

$135 for non-members

Sessions Themes:
April 5: Spring Exploration
Longer days mean everything is waking up and getting ready to grow. Come and explore the changing season as we explore why our days are warming up and becoming longer. Mud included!
April 6: Water Wonders
All the water in the world is continuously moving, fueling life on Earth. Explore all the grand ways that water makes Woldumar possible. Let’s go pond dipping!
April 7: Animal Survival
Investigate the diversity found within the animal kingdom as we learn about how Michigan wildlife survives.
April 8: Naturally Artistic
Let your creative side go wild! Use nature to inspire you as we create art out of artifacts found in nature.
April 9: Wild Engineering
Build a bridge to a better future as we explore the engineering of our wild nature center. If you like making and breaking your inventions, this is the day for you!
Drop off is at 9:00 am; pick up is at 4:00 pm.
Refund/Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations which occur more than 7 days prior to a camp’s start date will be refunded but charged a $30 processing fee. Cancellations which occur less than 7 days prior to the camp’s start date will be refunded 50%. The other 50% is forfeited and cannot be applied to any future sessions.
