Experience dynamic learning environments through LEARN517, a homeschool partnership program that explores a monthly theme through the disciplines of art, science, nature, and history. Each program partner hosts a 1:30-3 p.m. Thursday homeschool session based on the following calendar:

February: Transportation
March: Kinetic Energy
April: Recycle & Upcycle
LEARN
517 sessions meet each Thursday of the month at the following venues: REACH Art Studio (Week 1), Woldumar Nature Center (Week 2), Impression 5 Science Center (Week 3), and Michigan History Center (Week 4). Sessions are from 1:30-3 p.m. and designed for homeschool families with children ages 6-11 (other ages welcome).

Meet in Visitor Center
Program for students 1st to 5th. Adults must accompany students for the whole lesson.
For over 50 years, Woldumar Nature Center has provided the Greater Lansing Community with unique educational experiences in science and nature. Explore the great outdoors and learn more about Michigan natural sciences as you hike our trails, view demonstrations, and perform experiments with our staff naturalists.
