Interested in the fungus among us?
Led by Kristi MacCready and Rebecca Shay graduate students at Michigan State University and members of Graduate Women in Science. This program will introduce the basics of fungal biology and mushroom identification. Followed by a foray around Woldumar, and an identification session of your lucky finds.
This program is open to all ages who are able to safely walk our trails. Please wear appropriate clothing to be outside and footwear to hike in. We will have the program rain or shine but if it looks like severe weather is in the forecast we will reschedule the program.
